Kavanaugh accusations 'all false to me,' but I could change my mind

US President Donald Trump

Trump said at a news conference in NY that he'll watch the testimony from Kavanaugh and a woman who's accusing Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct. "You know why? Because I've had a lot of false charges made against me". If they would have come back with the most ideal, 'We found everything and he's perfectly innocent of everything.' It wouldn't have made a difference.

On the eve of Thursday's high-stakes Senate hearing that is likely to determine whether Kavanaugh is confirmed to the high court, Trump appointed himself the judge's principal character witness and moved to personally navigate one of the most acute crises of his presidency.

Avenatti also represents Stormy Daniels, the adult film actress who was paid money by a personal lawyer for Trump to remain silent about an alleged decade-old affair.

"I think it's going to be a very very important day in our country", Trump said.

Sanders, however, said the "absolutely appalling and disgusting" behavior of Democratic lawmakers who have opposed Kavanaugh has turned the confirmation process into a "huge public circus". The Fake News just doesn't understand, which is why he has to keep reminding everyone. And he said he may delay their highly anticipated Thursday meeting to avoid distracting from the Kavanaugh hearing.

She says President Donald Trump "has said a number of times these individuals should be heard".

After initially showing caution with the accusations against Kavanaugh, Trump has grown increasingly frustrated, viewing the process as a political plot against his efforts to advance a long-sought conservative makeover of the high court. He said there have been "a lot of false charges" against him.

Trump also applauded his work in North Korea and highlighted his positive relationship with dictator Kim Jong Un.

'Totally political': Trump defends Kavanaugh after second misconduct allegation
Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer of NY and the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, California Sen. He has already successfully installed Neil Gorsuch on the bench to replace the late Antonin Scalia .

Trump said he rejected a one-on-one meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on the sidelines of the United Nations because he's annoyed by the country's trade negotiations.

"I'm talking to him".

Michael Bromwich, a lawyer for Prof Ford, sent a letter to Mr Grassley requesting to meet the female prosecutor, arguing that hiring her was inappropriate, United States media report.

Trump once again claimed China has tried to meddle in the upcoming midterm elections in retaliation for Trump's tough trade policies - but declined to offer proof. "It will come out", he teased. "We will never surrender America's sovereignty to an unelected, unaccountable, global bureaucracy".

While taking questions, a deadpan Trump called on Kurdistan TV reporter Rahim Rashidi, saying: "Yes, please".

"In honor of you", he told the reporter, he'd be making the call.

Is that right? The vibe I got from right-wing reaction yesterday to the New Yorker's story was that it was hot garbage (I agree), promoting an allegation which Deborah Ramirez herself claims she was unsure about for the past 35 years before mysteriously recovering her memory in the past six days.

"I would love to be in the room with the Democrats, close the door, you guys are all away outside waiting and Schumer and his buddies are in there laughing how they fooled you all".
