Michelle Obama attacks Donald Trump in her new book

Donald Trump has hit back at former First Lady Michelle Obama's attacks on him in her new book by calling her an attention seeker.

"Donald Trump, with his loud and reckless innuendos, was putting my family's safety at risk", she added.

"I realized that as I was 34 and 35, we had to do IVF", she said in excerpts from an ABC special set to air Sunday.

CNN reports that Trump responded to the criticism Friday by telling reporters, "She got paid a lot of money to write a book and they always expect a little controversy".

"President Barack Obama was born in the United States", Trump said during a press conference at the time.

In her new memoir Becoming, Obama blasts Trump writing that she was in "shock" when she found out he would be replacing her husband in the Oval Office and tried to "block it all out".

State laws allowing recreational use of marijuana have spread across the United States since Colorado voters approved one in 2012. Sessions was defeated by Democrat Colin Allred, a medical marijuana supporter who has criticized Sessions' anti-pot prejudices.

"I don't blame Michelle Obama for being angry about the attacks she and her husband faced, and I don't blame Tucker for being fired up for the nastiness". She summed up his non-verbal message as "I can hurt you and get away with it", as she accused him of trying to stalk Clinton around the stage and "diminish her presence".

For many, Barack and Michelle Obama's nearly-three decades long romance is the ultimate relationship goals, but the former First Lady wants people to know that a good marriage and partnership takes work - and that it's not wrong to ask for help when you need it.

"The whole [birther] thing was insane and mean-spirited, of course, its underlying bigotry and xenophobia hardly concealed".

Michelle Obama's memoir chronicles her life growing up on Chicago's South Side through her years inside the White House as a mother of two and the nation's first African-American first lady. "But it was also unsafe, deliberately meant to stir up the wingnuts and kooks", she wrote. "We sit in our own pain, thinking that somehow we're broken".

She writes that Trump's central role in pushing the falsehood put her family at risk. She also reveals that she had both her daughters, Malia and Sasha, via in vitro fertilization.

She wrote: "It was an expression of hatred that had generally been kept out of polite company, but still lived in the marrow of our supposedly enlightened society - alive and accepted enough that someone like Donald Trump could afford to be cavalier about it".
