Southfield family kicked off Detroit flight because of body odor

An American couple is making global headlines for all the wrong reasons, after they were reportedly booted from an American Airlines flight after other passengers complained about their body odour.

Yehuda Adler is back from Miami with his wife and baby girl after a trip that took a freakish turn when they boarded their plane on Wednesday. "Because we just got kicked off a plane for smelling'".

"They said, 'Sir, people have complained that you have body odor", Yossi Adler, 36, told NBC News. There's nothing wrong with us'.

They followed instructions, got off the plane and then watched as the plane pulled away.

The Adlers also claimed the airline said they would remove their luggage from the plane, including their toddler's vehicle seat, but WPLG reports that wasn't the case.

American Airlines confirmed the family's story in a statement on Thursday and said it planned to cover their hotel and meal expenses for the night.

The Adlers were rebooked for a flight home to Detroit on Thursday. After stopping several people in the airport to question how bad they really smelled, Yossi Adler is convinced it wasn't the true motive for their removal from the aircraft.

Passenger Yossi Adler confronted an American Airlines employee in a cellphone video after he and his family were removed for their alleged body odor.

But he was then left speechless and blushing when McEnroe responded: "You could have fooled me, it looks pretty damn good to me". There was no argument from the 37-year-old, however, and he stopped and waited patiently for his entourage to catch up with him.

American Airlines removed a family from a plane on Wednesday after passengers and crew members complained that one of the family members smelled bad.

Last week, the Adlers were able to make it back to Detroit and got their luggage without incident, the Times reported.

"I'm very frustrated", Yossi told the station.

A MI family is demanding answers after they were forced off a plane after passengers "complained" about them.

"They didn't have a right to kick them off", another traveler said.

"I shower every day!"

Another woman who claims to have been on the flight took to Twitter to back up American Airline's claim.

Jennie said that she approached several people in the airport and asked them to give a smell test. "We'll take good care of your mom'".
