Google Play Store Update Offers A New Layout

Android

Google released an update to the Play Store ┬áthat is still being pushed out to Android smartphones and tablets. The update brings the Google Play Store to version 4.0 and offers a new layout. The new layout found in the update ┬ámakes the Play Store brighter instead of the dark themed main screen found when users first entered the Google Play Store. The update also offers a simple look on the main page with apps, movies, music and magazine categories visible on the top while the previous version had the categories and popular apps situated next to each other and made it very unorganized. Other than the main screen, there doesn’t appear to be too much of a change to the other sections of the Play Store except that it looks simple and the apps icons are bigger which makes it much easier to see. The update also improves the Play Store for tablet devices by providing a design that fits a the tablet screen. Overall, the update provides a fresh, simple, and brighter look to the Play Store.
