iOS 9.3 Update

iphonese-box-gray-2016Apple released a new patch to their iPhones, iPads and iPod Touches, iOS 9.3. The update adds no new features to devices that are iPhone 5 and lower; however, new iPhones will enjoy an updated Notes app, allowing one to add passwords and fingerprint lock to notes. Apple also enhanced the health app to allow third parties to track your health easier, and implemented car play features onto your iPhone. Lastly, they implemented a night shift mode which is pretty much f.lux, so iPhone 5s and greater will not need to jailbreak their any more to get this functionality.

It was not clear the reason why iPhone 5 users will not be receiving these minor feature updates even though its technically possible to support it on lower iPhones. This is Apple’s strategy to push users who are still currently using iPhone 5 to upgrade to a newer phone to continue receiving future features. We are sorry iPhone 5 users, its time for you to pay the Apple tax. Cough up the money now!

Let us know what you think of this new update in the comment section. How do you feel that iPhone 5 isn’t getting the upgrade?
