After Google announced a Nexus experience for the Samsung Galaxy S4 at the Google I/O, HTC had just announced a Nexus experience version for their HTC One smartphone. This means that users can have the experience of stock Android with a high-quality design of the HTC One. This HTC One should also be receiving timely updates from Google on future Android updates. The Nexus experience HTC One will run on Android 4.2.2, the latest version available. The HTC One will be available on the Google Play Store in the U.S only on June 26th.
This iteration of the HTC One with Nexus experience will not feature applications found on the HTC One with HTC Sense. That means that apps like BlinkFeed and the enhanced audio feature of BoomSound will not be available. Without these features means that users will find more memory available in the 2GB RAM since there is less bloatware running in the background. It is an advantage for the user depending on which way you use the device – more memory available meaning less slow down as you run more applications in the background or using HTC Sense and have BoomSound audio enhancement to enjoy your music along with other HTC apps.
