Android News Sony

Looking for a smartphone with better camera capabilities? Sony’s next smartphone known as the Xperia i1 Honami will sport a 20.7 megapixel camera, larger than any high-end smartphone out on the market. This device will be nearing a phablet smartphone territory but should make for a great device for those looking for a smartphone with an excellent camera. The Xperia i1 Honami is expected to be announced in September.

The Sony Xperia i1 Honami built with a 20.7MP camera will benefit those wanting an excellent smartphone with a great camera. The camera will have a G-Lens that will make this smartphone camera lens comparable with some of the best camera lenses out there. Essentially, the Sony Xperia i1 should provide excellent picture quality, making this smartphone a great portable camera as well. Along with a 5inch 1080P display, users can view the photos they captured in great detail along with the exceptional quality of photos due in part by the i1’s 20.7 megapixel camera and lens.

Other specs to note about the Sony Xperia i1 Honami is that it is also a high-end device. Sporting the latest Snapdragon 800 processor, the Xperia i1 processor clocks at 2.2Ghz with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage with expandable SD slot. Like the recent Xperia Z and Xperia Z Ultra, the Xperia i1 Honami is also waterproof, with a design that is similar to recent Xperia smartphones. It will also be running on Android 4.2.2.

Not many smartphones on the market comes with a camera thats ideal for quality photo taking, but instead is just an ordinary portable camera. The Xperia i1 Honami with it’s G-Lens and 20.7MP would make it one of the top high-end smartphones with an exceptional camera on the market. The Nokia Lumia 1020 with it’s whopping 40.1MP camera is another smartphone with a great camera, but with lower end specs. And one other problem is that it is a Windows Phone which doesn’t come with a lot of developer support compare to Android and iOS. The Sony Xperia i1 Honami would be a great top of the line smartphone with an excellent camera built with a great lens.
