If you really liked HTC One’s unibody aluminum design, get ready for a super sized version. HTC’s phablet device known as the HTC One Max will look identical to the HTC One, except it will have a 5.9 inch screen size. With such a great design found on the HTC One, there isn’t really any reason for HTC to change the looks yet, except to only make it much larger.
HTC One Max’s large screen size of 5.9 inches with 1080P resolution is built with a unibody aluminum exterior that will definitely make it harder to fit in your pockets or will just make your pants feel heavier. It’s aluminum body design like the original HTC One will give it a premium look and feel for a phablet device. The phablet devices currently available on the market like the Galaxy Note 2 doesn’t offer a premium design that some consumers will want. The Sony Xperia Z Ultra on the other hand, can be a premium phablet device but with a much larger screen size of 6.4 inches. HTC One Max’s 5.9 inch display can be an alternative for those who don’t want Sony’s version of a phablet device and will also have the premium and sturdy built device on their hands.
Specs wise, we should expect the standard high-end hardware, such as 2GB RAM, 16-32GB internal memory with no external SD Slot due to it’s unibody build. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor is rumoured to be powering the HTC One Max. And of course, it will run on the latest Android operating system with HTC Sense.
