Waterproof Nexus Edition Smartphone?

Android Sony

As Samsung and HTC are both releasing a Nexus edition smartphone of the Galaxy S4 and One, Sony may be doing the same with their own high-end smartphone. The waterproof Sony Xperia Z may be launching as a Nexus edition smartphone which will add another device on the market running the stock Android operating system by Google. The Xperia Z as a Nexus smartphone may be an enticing choice as it features an un-bloated Android OS with it’s durable glass body that is also waterproof and dust-proof.

If the Sony Xperia Z is coming out as a Nexus edition smartphone, it will surely separate itself from the likes of Samsung and HTC in terms of build quality. HTC One does have a great aluminum uni-body but what makes the Xperia Z different is it’s durable glass that allows the smartphone to be waterproof. The glass build surely makes the Xperia Z feel like a premium device. ¬†All three devices feature a 1080P display, 2GB RAM and at least 16GB of storage. The Xperia Z and Galaxy S4 does have an expandable SD Slot as well. A weakness in comparisons to the Galaxy S4 and HTC One for the Xperia Z would be it’s processor which is slightly slower but is still powerful to run against other high-end smartphones. A waterproof Nexus edition smartphone by Sony’s Xperia Z will certainly make an attractive device to have while running the stock Android OS.

For those who are looking for a Nexus edition smartphone but can’t decide between the possible 3 smartphones, the Sony Xperia Z compared to Samsung and HTC, will make a great choice in terms of build quality that makes it extra durable .
