WhatsApp on Desktop Now Available


WhatsApp on desktop is now available! The desktop app makes it much more convenient to use on your computer than the web browser version which was the only way you can get access to the app through your computer.

Like the web browser version, to initially login to WhatsApp on desktop, you require a QR Code scan with your mobile device to initially login to your account. An advantage with WhatsApp on desktop is that there is no limit of inactivity before you are logged off and uses your operating system’s notification system – whether you are using Mac or Windows 8 or higher. In fact, you can even use your keyboard shortcuts to message or select options efficiently if you so happen to be in front of your computer and take advantage of these shortcuts.

If you haven’t jumped onto WhatsApp, you should start. It’s free and available on Android, iOS, Windows Phone 7+ and BlackBerry with over one billion people using it. WhatsApp makes multimedia messaging much easier and allows you to stay connected with friends and family members from across the globe, barring you have their phone number.
