GARRACK’s Cosmic Princess Kaguya watches launch, with a shipping delay
A little moon that changes with the battery level is a deeply unfair way to make a smartwatch charming. GARRACK’s Cosmic Princess Kaguya! collection reached its scheduled October 23 Japanese launch, following the maker’s September announcement. But the official shop now lists delayed preorder shipping. Before we admire the straps for an unreasonable amount of time, let’s get the delivery detail out where everyone can see it.
The launch date and the parcel date are different things here.
Japan pricing, with an October 27 dispatch plan
The three watch designs feature Kaguya, Iroha Sakayori and Yachiyo Tsukimi, each priced at ¥39,600 including Japanese tax. The official Kaguya-model listing says preorder dispatch is planned for October 27, following system maintenance to address a PHP vulnerability. It also shows that model out of stock, with a restock expected. That is a stock snapshot, not a promise about every retailer or variant.

If you are ordering as a gift, use the current retailer notice rather than the date on an older announcement. If you are outside Japan, confirm delivery eligibility, warranty arrangements and the full landed cost before paying. We have not established a Canadian launch. The watch may be excellent at showing a moon; it cannot explain an unexpected import bill with a sufficiently adorable face.
The character details are the point
The official feature page shows patterned straps, animated watch-face backgrounds and a battery indicator represented by lunar phases. Tapping the character changes the visual. It also lists a 1.82-inch display, built-in GPS and iOS/Android compatibility, without specifying OS versions on that page. Check your exact phone before treating “compatible” as a completed conversation.
This is the appeal of a proper fandom accessory: something you already use, with a little personality waiting when you glance down. It needn’t be subtle to be enjoyable. Equally, imagine wearing the design on an ordinary Tuesday, not only the five excited minutes after opening the box. Tuesday is where a surprising number of purchases begin reconsidering their life choices.
And yes, the soundtrack detail has a footnote.
Music and battery claims need their conditions
The manufacturer’s current pages say the character music is due through an update planned during October. Do not assume it is already installed on a shipping unit. GARRACK also advertises up to ten days of normal use, or up to seven with heavy use; these are manufacturer claims, not our endurance measurements. The watch set includes a themed mobile battery.

Ask the seller which companion app and language options your phone will use, and how updates are delivered. A cute charging accessory is welcome, but understanding the app matters more than matching every item in the unboxing photograph. No one is confiscating the pretty box. We are simply making sure the little wrist companion has a sensible route through everyday life.
A collector purchase still deserves practical questions
We have not tested comfort, tracking accuracy or battery life. Our Fitbit Edge report offers a different wearable proposition, and our Wearables & XR coverage follows the wider category. If the artwork makes you happy, that is a perfectly real benefit. Pair that excitement with confirmed stock, phone support and a delivery date you can live with. Then you can enjoy the moon-phase battery icon without the parcel becoming an unexpected fourth character in the story.
