Yahoo! Shopping separates price from delivery in AI rankings
The cheapest option arrives after the birthday. The quickest one costs more. The highly rated one has a mysterious delivery date. Shopping comparisons have a habit of becoming a small spreadsheet when you only wanted to buy one sensible thing and go make a snack.
LY Corporation’s October 28 announcement introduces AI Best Proposal for Yahoo! Shopping in Japan. It replaces the previous single overall suggestion with rankings for price, delivery, reviews and a combined best result.
Choose the question before the ranking
For price, the system accounts for coupons, earned points and shipping. The ordering can therefore differ between users. The combined view uses the rankings across price, delivery and reviews.
That is a useful distinction to make visible. “Best” should begin with what matters to you. A delivery deadline is different from a strict cash budget, and an item for your desk can involve different compromises from a last-minute present. Tell a comparison tool the constraint before admiring whichever product it places first.

Points deserve their own little line
A points-adjusted ranking is not quite the same question as how much money leaves your account today. If you will not use a reward, give it less weight in your own decision. If you do expect to use it, check the conditions before treating it like an immediate reduction in the checkout total.
The same practical habit applies to the other tabs: inspect the actual delivery information when timing matters, and read the details behind a rating. A tidy ranking is a starting point for the choice. It does not know that the present must be wrapped by Friday or that your storage cupboard has already filed a formal complaint.

Rollout and accuracy still need attention
The feature is rolling out gradually on product and favourites pages in PC/web browsers and the iOS and Android apps; some devices may not show it. LY Corporation says it uses OpenAI’s API and does not guarantee the generated results’ accuracy.
So check the final product, seller and checkout details rather than buying from the summary alone. A helpful assistant should reduce the work involved in checking your priorities. It should not make those priorities disappear behind an especially confident paragraph.
For a comparison built around a more specific job, our audio buying guide starts with product traits and budget. The Software & Services desk follows other shopping and productivity updates. This is a Japanese service announcement, not a launch of a new Yahoo marketplace in Canada.
