Razer’s Reclusa Mini 65% adds magnetic switches and wireless
Razer announced the Reclusa Mini 65% on October 27, bringing hot-swappable magnetic switches and wireless connectivity to its compact keyboard line. This is the new magnetic model, rather than the earlier mechanical Reclusa X Mini.
Keyboard customisation is a delightful rabbit hole. You start by wanting a nicer space bar, and suddenly there is a small bag of switches on the desk with a name more dramatic than your entire computer. The useful question is which adjustment would make typing or playing feel better for you.
Choose the response before chasing the number
Razer specifies 0.1–4.0mm adjustable actuation, Rapid Trigger and six onboard profiles. Connections include 2.4GHz HyperSpeed Wireless, Bluetooth for up to three devices and USB-C wired mode. The advertised 8,000Hz polling applies when wired.
That last distinction is easy to lose in a quick specification comparison. Decide which connection you plan to use most, then compare performance in that mode. A maximum number in another mode cannot tell you how your own desk will behave.

Typing comfort and game settings have different jobs
A very light input setting may suit one game and annoy you while writing a long message. Make separate profiles with a clear purpose, then change one setting at a time. If a new adjustment produces more accidental inputs than useful ones, the number can politely go back where it came from.
Before ordering spare switches or keycaps, check Razer’s compatibility guidance for the exact model and layout. “Customisable” should lead to a matching shopping list, not a hopeful assumption that every part you found in a late-night keyboard video will fit.

Listen to the promise, then judge the actual board
The launch describes sound and feel enthusiastically, but a specification list is not a typing test. Try a sample if you can, or use a seller with clearly understood returns. Pay attention to the larger keys, case resonance and whether the layout leaves room for the shortcuts you use daily.
Our Dell KM7321W review covers a much quieter-looking office direction; the computing desk follows the wider collection of laptops and peripherals. A gaming board and an office combo need not win the same contest.
The sensible reason to choose the Reclusa is a feature you will actually tune: input response, connection switching or the physical feel. The less sensible reason is believing a keyboard will organise your life because it has a dial. Admittedly, a nice dial can be very persuasive.
