Razer’s EVA-01 collection gives the gaming desk a purple-and-green makeover
Some desk setups whisper “minimalism.” This one looks ready to take the afternoon extremely seriously. Subtlety has apparently been reassigned.
Razer’s October 29 announcement introduces a five-piece Evangelion EVA-01 collection, exclusive to Asia Pacific. The collaboration covers a mouse, keyboard, soundbar, desk mat and chair.
The little mouse stand understood the assignment
The DeathAdder V4 Pro edition includes an EVA-01 launch-platform display stand. The BlackWidow V4 TKL HyperSpeed edition has a tenkeyless layout.

Those are two different reasons to pause before buying. The mouse’s display stand is a collector detail. The keyboard’s layout affects ordinary work: if a number pad is part of your daily routine, a beautifully coordinated desk does not quietly grow one back.
Likewise, choose a mouse shape for your hand before choosing its outfit. A colour scheme can be a very persuasive little salesperson. It cannot tell you whether a familiar shape still feels comfortable after a long evening.
The regional detail comes before the shopping plan
The Japanese announcement lists tax-inclusive prices of ¥32,980 for the mouse and ¥35,980 for the keyboard. It schedules Japanese preorders for October, while warning that availability varies by region. It does not establish Canadian availability.

That makes this an announcement to follow locally, rather than a promise that a particular retailer can deliver the whole set today. If you are tempted to import, establish the exact model, keyboard layout, final cost and applicable warranty before the checkout excitement takes over.
Our Reclusa Mini coverage offers another keyboard format to compare; the computing desk follows more accessories.
The appeal here is a coordinated fan collection. Pick the piece you would enjoy using even after the unboxing photos are taken. The spreadsheet may sigh gently. It does that when it feels outnumbered.
