HYTE’s Ina’nis PC case opens Japan preorders—with a winter wait

A PC case is usually where the computer lives. HYTE’s Ninomae Ina’nis Y70 TI would apparently also like to be the room’s tiny purple celebrity. Fine. The cable-management drawer has been getting far too much attention anyway.

The practical news: distributor Links International opened Japanese preorders on November 2 at noon Japan time, with an expected tax-inclusive price of ¥92,600. Delivery is listed for winter 2026 or later. That is a window, rather than a date to clear on your calendar.

A showcase build, with software attached

The official product page describes a royal-purple panoramic-glass case with artwork by Ina’nis and Rosuuri, plus a 14.9-inch touchscreen. Its themed animations and voices require HYTE Nexus; the distributor says animation features are still under development and may change.

Here’s the bit to pause on: buying the enclosure and enjoying every promised screen interaction are separate parts of the plan. If one particular animation is the whole reason you want it, check its finished state before committing. A very cute progress bar remains, tragically, a progress bar.

Leave room in the build budget

The listed case has no included power supply or standard fans. It includes a PCIe 4.0 riser for vertical graphics-card installation; its horizontal expansion slots are low-profile. The full-sized GPU therefore needs the intended vertical arrangement.

That matters when pricing the actual computer. Start with the enclosure, then add your component list and cooling plan before admiring the final total. This is the stage where a spreadsheet is allowed to be the responsible friend.

For another case-and-cooling announcement to compare against, our DeepCool CG330U 3F and AN600 VC report covers a different approach. Neither announcement substitutes for independent thermal testing of your intended build.

The matching keycaps cost extra

Links also opened preorders for the separate Ina’nis keycap-and-mousepad set: expected tax-inclusive price ¥23,990, also winter 2026 or later. It combines PBT keycaps with a 900mm-wide mousepad. The case does not include this set.

Before ordering keycaps, compare the supplied keys and your keyboard’s layout and switch stems. A matching colour scheme cannot persuade the wrong spacebar to fit. Likewise, measure the desk before giving a very enthusiastic mousepad custody of it.

The takeaway: this is a Japanese preorder milestone for a themed collection, with separate purchases and an unfinished software element to weigh. Confirm the retailer’s delivery and cancellation terms, check the complete build cost, and keep browsing our computing coverage if you are still choosing parts. The purple can be spontaneous; the parts list deserves a little supervision.
