Samsung adds 19 Art Basel Paris works to its TV Art Store
Samsung would like its TVs to look a little more cultured while nobody is streaming anything. Honestly, the big rectangle could use a hobby. On October 20, the company announced 19 additions to its Art Store from galleries participating in Art Basel Paris 2026. A little art between episodes is an appealing change of mood.
Let’s have a look at what’s joining the wall.
What is new?
The selection includes work by Elene Shatberashvili and Hans Op de Beeck. Samsung says the new works join its existing Art Basel collection and are available through the service in supported markets. For existing owners, that means more choices for the room, rather than another piece of hardware to find a home for.

A small reality check: this is a content update. The panel has not improved its picture specifications overnight, however pleased with itself it may look displaying new artwork. What changes is the selection you can put on it.

Check your television and subscription
Samsung lists compatible 2026 families including The Frame, The Frame Pro, R95H, S95H, QN80H, QN70H and M80H, as well as supported 2025 families. Model names and availability vary by region. The European OLED model named in the release’s footnotes is S99H, so check the full local model rather than just a familiar-looking name.

Art Store needs a paid subscription. Samsung also says prices, compatible models and the available collection can differ by country and change over time. This does not mean free artwork on every Samsung smart TV. The gallery has a bill, even if it lets you visit in your socks.
For a less contemplative use of the television, LG’s 8 Ball Pool release is about shared play. Our television news coverage follows other screen and software updates.
DeviceCritique’s take
There is a sweet idea here: making a large screen feel more at home when it would otherwise be a blank patch on the wall. Whether rotating artwork earns another subscription is the household decision. Samsung, we can admire the picture and still check the monthly total. The announcement also cannot establish how convincing it looks under different room lighting; that needs hands-on assessment. For now, it is a wider art selection, with the usual compatibility and cost questions tucked beside the frame.
