OnePlus Ace 7 and Pro launch in China with 9000mAh batteries
A gaming phone with its own fan has a wonderfully specific energy: yes, the commute is ordinary, but the little computer in your pocket has arrived for a tournament. The new Ace family takes that idea quite seriously.
OnePlus’s October 29 China launch introduces Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro. Both advertise a 9000mAh battery, 100W charging and active cooling.
Two names, a few differences worth circling
The Ace 7 uses Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series; the Pro uses Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and adds a 3.5x periscope camera. Both list a 200MP main camera.
Those differences make a better starting point than assuming the Pro label improves everything you care about. Write down whether you are buying for a particular game, a camera job or simply fewer anxious glances at the battery icon. A phone cannot be your ideal choice until you give it an actual assignment.

Here is the refresh-rate catch
OnePlus distinguishes a 185Hz display ceiling from system-wide 165Hz operation; the highest rate depends on supported games.
That is the detail to check against the games you actually play. A spectacular number in the launch artwork does not mean every app will run at that number. Your home screen might look very pleased with itself while the game you bought the phone for follows a different rulebook.
The same patience applies to cooling and charging claims. They describe what the manufacturer designed and measured, not a promise about every long session, room temperature or charging routine. Look for the relevant test conditions and independent sustained-performance results before treating a short demonstration as your entire evening.

Compare the whole purchase, not the flashiest badge
For another large-battery gaming-phone announcement, our iQOO Neo12 coverage gives you a useful comparison point. Keep the exact memory and storage configuration beside any quoted offer, especially when a listing blends a sale, a subsidy and a trade-in into one extremely cheerful number.
This is China-market launch coverage. The reviewed sources do not establish Canadian availability or a Canadian price. Importing would add questions about network compatibility, software, warranty service and returns; get written answers for your specific unit rather than borrowing reassurance from a different model’s listing.
Our smartphone desk can help you compare the wider field. The sensible takeaway is to choose the model whose supported games and camera setup fit your day, then wait for evidence about the experience. The fan can bring the drama; your purchase decision is allowed to remain beautifully calm.
